WVU Tech ME-EV(Mechanical Engineering Electric Vehicle)
My senior project consisted of converting a 1974 Suzuki 750gt to an all electric drivetrain capable of providing transportation for the average american drive, 20 miles. The bike's aim was to prove that an electric conversion could be quick, cheap, effective, possible by the average hobbyist or college student. Our conversion proved all this was possible. The total cost of the end result was $2100, with an estimated range of 25 miles, and a top speed of 50 MPH. More information is provided on the conversion's website. WVU Tech ME-EV
